With the outreach program “Aktive Orte” (Active Places), the Dresden State Art Collec­tions expanded their engagement in rural areas of Saxony. The networking event “landen #2” brought together a wide variety of practi­tioners who shape and explore rural spaces through their artistic, curatorial, or cultural work. The focus was parti­cu­larly on projects developed in colla­bo­ration with the local population.

At the event, I spoke about the parti­ci­patory approach of the OSTEN festival.
