As a&nbsp;contri\u00adbu\u00adtion from the \u2018Cultures of Curating\u2019 degree programme, we examined the Kultur\u00adpa\u00adlast as a&nbsp;social space and meeting place. To highlight the loss caused by the building\u2019s closure, we moved the survi\u00adving furni\u00adture from the former refresh\u00adment room in the building\u2019s basement \u2013 which was due to be filled in as part of the renova\u00adtion planned at the time \u2013 out to the festival centre and marked the missing parts of the 1990s-era furni\u00adture. In doing so, we created a&nbsp;new social meeting place for the duration of the festival.
