How did the people here capture their world through photo\u00adgraphy? For a&nbsp;year, media artist Anke Heelemann searched for private photos and stories at various collection sites. Thanks to numerous contri\u00adbu\u00adtions, she was able to compile a&nbsp;wide variety of personal perspectives\u2014from photo albums, memory boxes, and brigade diaries, spanning the entire last century. The images depict the everyday aspects of life, as well as remar\u00adkable and unusual moments\u2014family celebra\u00adtions, scenes from daily life, and outings. Yet they also casually reveal the history of a&nbsp;region. Heelemann curated the photo collection and, at the festival, invited visitors to design and annotate the pages of a&nbsp;large photo album featuring the photo\u00adgraphs, captions, and quotes. This allowed visitors to capture their own unique perspec\u00adtives on yesterday, today, and tomorrow and, together, shed new light on the history of Bitterfeld-Wolfens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As curator of the <a href=\"https:\/\/martinnaundorf.de\/en\/festival-osten\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"862\">Festivals OSTEN<\/a> , I&nbsp;oversaw the project from the initial concept through to its premiere presen\u00adtation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-metadaten wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vergessene-fotos.de\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"www.vergessene-fotos.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.vergessene-fotos.de<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Anke Heelemann Installation, 2024 Welches Bild zeichnen private Fotografien vom Leben und den Umbr\u00fcchen in der ORWO-Stadt Bitterfeld-Wolfen?
